Industry-quality in-studio and remote mixing and mastering engineered by Chris Pinset for independent artists who want their music to sound polished, powerful, balanced, and ready for streaming platforms, clubs, radio, and professional release campaigns.
Mixing and mastering services are engineered by Chris Pinset, a recording engineer and producer whose work spans hip-hop, funk, soul, and independent artist releases. His engineering approach combines analog warmth with modern digital production tools to create mixes that translate powerfully across streaming platforms, club systems, and broadcast playback.
Sessions are performed in Nyack, New York using professional studio monitoring systems, analog outboard processors, and high-end microphones inside the Mood Recording studio environment. The studio workflow centers around an SSL AWS900 console paired with Augspurger monitoring, giving artists the same type of mixing environment used in major commercial studios.
Remote mixing and mastering services are also available for artists who cannot attend an in-studio session. Artists can send properly prepared stems, vocals, instrumentals, reference tracks, and release notes online, allowing Chris Pinset to complete professional mixing and mastering work remotely while maintaining a clear project workflow.

Why Professional Mixing Matters
Streaming platforms host millions of songs, and listeners expect professional sound quality. A well-mixed and mastered track increases listener retention, playlist placement potential, and overall impact. It helps a record feel finished instead of unfinished, competitive instead of amateur, and release-ready instead of demo-level.
Professional mixing and mastering ensure your music competes with major-label releases in terms of clarity, loudness, energy, sonic balance, and emotional impact. For independent artists, that difference can shape how fans, curators, DJs, playlist editors, and media outlets respond to the music.
